John Gardner (composer)
John Gardner, CBE (born 1917 in Manchester, England) is an English composer of classical music.
His works include cantatas, concertos, rhapsodies, sonatas, four operas, three symphonies, a ballet, and much choral music.
He was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1976.
