John George III, Elector of Saxony

John George III (20 June 1647 - 12 September 1691) was born into the house of Wettin. He was the Elector of Saxony, one of the electors of the Holy Roman Empire. His tropps defeated the Turks at Vienna which marked the end of their invasion in Europe.
John George III Wettin married Anne Sophia of Denmark. They had a son named Frederick Augustus (the Strong), later ruler of Dresden, Saxony and Poland.
