John Laurance
John Laurance (1750 – November 11, 1810) was an American lawyer, statesman, and speculator from New York. He served as a delegate to the Continental Congress from 1785 to 1787, U.S. Congressman for New York from 1789 to 1793, U.S. Attorney, and U.S. Senator for New York from 1796 to 1800.
