John McTiernan
John McTiernan (born January 8, 1951) is a movie director, most notable for his action movies. He was born in Albany, New York, USA. Most action cinema fans agree that the director's best works career-wise have been 1987's Predator, 1988's Die Hard, and 1990's The Hunt for Red October (which McTiernan directed back-to-back-to-back). The director is currently working on the fourth Die Hard installment, with Bruce Willis back in tow, expected to be released sometime in 2006.
