John Murray, 11th Duke of Atholl
John Murray, Esq. (born 19 January 1929) is a British peer. Although he is the Duke of Atholl (with all of its subsidiary titles), he has reportedly refused to use his inherited peerage titles. He received a BSc in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, a leading South African university. He owns the only legal private army in Europe, the Atholl Highlanders.
