John Rennie (railway engineer)
Sir John Rennie (1794–1874) was a son of engineer John Rennie and brother of George Rennie.
Although he was the younger of John Rennie's sons, he was chosen to carry out his father's design for London Bridge between 1824 and 1831. He and his brother George were involved in the construction of George Stephenson's Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1830
