Johnny Johnson (musical)
Johnny Johnson is a musical written by Kurt Weill (music) and Paul Green (book and lyrics), with direction by Lee Strasberg and musical direction by Lehman Engel . Johnny Johnson opened on Broadway at the 44th Street Theatre on November 19, 1936 and closed on January 16, 1937 after 68 performances. A revival of the show opened and closed at the Edison Theatre on April 11, 1971.
