Jolbert Cabrera
Jolbert Cabrera [HOLE-bert kah-BRAY-rah] (born December 8, 1972 in Cartagena, Colombia) is a baseball outfielder/infielder who plays with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks in Japan's Pacific League. Previously, he played in Major League Baseball for the Cleveland Indians (1998-2002), Los Angeles Dodgers (2002-03), and Seattle Mariners (2004). Cabrera hits and throws right-handed. He is the older brother of shortstop Orlando Cabrera.
Cabrera is a highly versatily player able to play every position but pitcher and catcher and held his own wherever he went. He is basically a line-drive hitter with some pop in his bat. As a runner, he has above-average speed and also can get the occasional bag.
In a seven-year career, Cabrera is a .258 hitter with 15 home runs and 145 RBI in 561 games.
