Jordan (bishop of Poland)
Jordan (? – 982 or 984) - since 968 first bishop of Poland with seat in Poznan. Most of evidences shows that he was missionary bishop submitted directly to the Pope. He arrived to the Poland probably from Italy or Rhineland in 966 with Dubrawka to baptist Mieszko I of Poland. After death of Jordan till 992 throne of Bishop of Poland was probably empty, or there was a bishop of unknown name (first theory is more probably). His succesor since 992 was Unger .
