Josef Gingold

Josef Gingold (1909-1995) was born in Russia, and emigrated to the United States in 1920 where he studied violin with Vladimir Graffman. In 1937 he won a spot in the NBC Symphony Orchestra, and later was the Cleveland Orchestra’s concertmaster.
