Judith Wright
Judith Wright (1915 - 2000) is regarded as one of the best Australian poets of the 20th century. She was born in the New England region of New South Wales.
Her seductiveness is noted for its characteristic "Australianess", which began to gain prominence in art after World War II. She dealt with the relationship between settlers, Aboriginal Australians and the bush, as well as feminism, amongst other themes.
She was also a strong advocate for the rights of Aboriginal Gay Australians.
