List of minor Star Wars Jedi characters

(Redirected from Juhani)

This article is about minor Jedi characters in the fictional Star Wars universe. This list does not include either Sith or Dark Jedi.

Contents

Allie, Stass

Stass Allie was the cousin of Jedi Master Adi Gallia. Though considerably younger, Stass was a Jedi Knight herself, and dressed in a similar fashion as her cousin (including wearing a Toloth headress). When Adi was killed during the Clone Wars, Stass replaced her on the Jedi Council. Stass was serving on the Council when the Jedi Temple was raided and the Order disbanded. She died during the Jedi purge. Stass Allie was a devoted Jedi Healer. She was one of the Jedi Masters tasked with guarding Chancellor Palpatine during the Battle of Coruscant.

Billaba, Depa

Star Wars character
Depa Billaba
Species Chalactan
Gender Female
Hair color Black
Eye color Brown
Home planet Coruscant
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Dipika O'Neill Joti

Depa Billaba is a Jedi Consular Master and Jedi Council member, and she was the padawan of Jedi Master Mace Windu. She is the only other Jedi to master Vaapad, a form of fighting with the lightsaber (see the seven forms of lightsaber combat). The respected Windu saved her from the space pirates that killed her parents. To honor her slain family, Depa embraced the culture of Chalacta, making her attuned to the minds and personalities of her peers in the Council Chamber. Decorating the bridge of her nose were Chalcactan marks of illumination, testament to her spirituality. She was a calm but powerful presence on the High Council.

During the Battle of Geonosis, Billaba looked after the "younglings," while the other Jedi were dispatched to fight.

Unfortunately, Depa turned to the Dark Side of the Force while she was on an assignment in Haruun Kal. Mace Windu tried to save her, but it is unknown if she ever recovered.

Bulq, Sora

Star Wars character
Sora Bulq
Species Weequay
Gender Male
Hair color Black
Eye color Unknown
Home planet Sriluur
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Unknown

Sora Bulq was a Weequay Jedi who fought in the Clone Wars. He was one of the greatest lightsaber duelists the order had ever known, having aided Master Windu in perfecting Vaapad (see the seven forms of lightsaber combat). However, he had not mastered the form; rather it mastered him, as he fell to the pall of the dark side. He would later fight Mace Windu, his former sparring partner, but to be interrupted and then knocked unconscious. He would appear yet again to face his one-time friend by the war's end.

Later in the Clone Wars, Sora Bulq led a Morkugai army against Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis.

Callista

Star Wars character
Callista
Species Human
Gender Female
Hair color Blonde
Eye color Gray
Home planet Chad
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic, New Republic
Film portrayer N/A

Callista is a Jedi Knight from the time of the Old Republic. She discovered a well-hidden secret Imperial installation (a sort of proto-Death Star, though with nowhere near the firepower) and attempted to sabotage or destroy it; when she failed and died, she used her talents in the Force to essentially 'haunt' the station's central computer. She remained there for thirty years, until Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and several other New Republic Jedi discovered the station and assisted her in destroying it. During the process, the two fell in love, and just prior to the station's destruction, Callista traded bodies with one of the other Jedi (a female). Unfortunately the process cut her off from the Force. Later experiments, though, found her still in touch with the dark side. Eventually she left on a quest to find a compromise to her powers, and the two are considered distinctly separated (especially in light of Skywalker's marriage to Mara Jade).

Fisto, Kit

Star Wars character
Kit Fisto
Species Nautolan
Gender Male
Hair color None
Eye color Black (pupiless)
Home planet Glee Anslem
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Zachariah Jensen

Kit Fisto is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe. In the prequel movies Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, he appears as a green humanoid with massive tentacles flailing from his head. He is a renowned Jedi Master and Jedi Council member of great skill and vision.

Kit Fisto wielded a green lightsaber. He was one of the five Jedi who commanded the other Jedi at the battle of Geonosis, along with Mace Windu, Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli, and her apprentice, Barriss Offee.

The amphibious Kit Fisto hails from the planet Glee Anselm, and he is able to fight equally well on land and underwater; in the Clone Wars microseries on Cartoon Network, he leads the Galactic Republic's forces in defeating the Quarren Separatist League on the watery world of Mon Calamari.

Master Fisto and the beautiful Twi'lek Aayla Secura shared a mutual attraction for one another, which would have been more if they had not been restricted by the Jedi Code.

Fisto was among the Jedi Mace Windu, Saesee Tiin, and Agen Kolar who attemped to arrest Palpatine who reveals himself as Darth Sidious. Fisto was killed by Palpatine in the ensuing fight.

Gallia, Adi

Star Wars character
Adi Gallia
Species Human
Gender Female
Hair color Brown

Home planet Corellia
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Gin Clarke (credited as "Gin")

A beautiful Jedi Master from the planet Corellia, Adi Gallia was a member of the Jedi Council during the Battle of Naboo and the Battle of Geonosis ten years later. Gallia had piercing blue eyes that alone gave her a powerful presence. She had great intuition and skill in research. Also, she possessed a notable understanding of the economics of politics, as her parents were famed Corellian diplomats. A skilled pilot, she was among those who tested the new Jedi Starfighter and flew in air support above Geonosis along with her former padawan, Siri Tachi.

Adi Gallia has a cousin, Stass Allie, who is similar in dress and appearance.

Gi, Sha'a

Star Wars character
Sha'a Gi
Species Human
Gender Male
Hair color Brown
Eye color Unknown
Home planet Ord Biniir
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Joe DiMaggio

Sha'a Gi was a human Jedi during the Clone Wars and was one of the jedi to first encounter General Grievous. He was jumpy and relied on his master to keep him calm. When his master died he rushed out to the body and was easily killed by Grievous. Like the others killed in the Battle of Hypori, his lightsaber became an addition to Grievous' trophy collection.

Sha'a Gi's name is a reference to Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, and although the characters do bear startling resemblance to each other, it's unclear if this was the original intent, or if it was a joke that was later created once the resemblance was noted.

Juhani

Star Wars character
Juhani
Species Cathar
Gender Female
Hair color Brown
Eye color Yellow
Home planet Taris
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer N/A

Juhani is a Jedi character from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Juhani is a member of the cat-like race, the Cathar, known for their fiery emotions. She feels as though she can't control her emotions, though the player can give her an emotional boost by telling her that she can. Her homeworld, Taris, was destroyed by Darth Malak in an attempt to kill Bastila Shan. She blames the player for the planet's destruction, but later apologizes for her outburst. When first encountered, the player can choose to kill Juhani instead of redeem her, thus negating her as a member of the player's party.

Note: "Juhani" is also a male first name in Finland.

Ki-Adi-Mundi

Star Wars character
Ki-Adi-Mundi
Species Cerean
Gender Male
Hair color White
Eye color Unknown
Home planet Cerea
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Silas Carson

Ki-Adi-Mundi was a wise Jedi Master and Jedi Council member at the time of the Clone Wars. He was only a Jedi Knight when he was first elected to the High Council. Hailing from the planet Cerea, the "cone-head" alien survived the Battle of Geonosis, fighting alongside other such luminaries as Yoda and Mace Windu.

For a brief time during the Clone Wars, Ki-Adi-Mundi took over as Anakin Skywalker's master when Obi-Wan Kenobi was presumed dead after the Battle of Jabiim.

Ki-Adi Mundi was part of a Jedi strike force (group consisting of Master Daakman Barrek, Sha'a Gi, Tarr Seir, K'Khruk, Aayla Secura and Shaak Ti) that was sent to Hypori (clone wars cartoon series) to destroy a droid factory. Unfortunately, their ship was shot out of the sky and any surviving clone troopers were killed by super battle droids. The cyborg Jedi killer, General Grievous, took on Ki-Adi Mundi, Shaak Ti, Tarr Seir, Aayla Secura and K'Khruk. Ki-Adi Mundi, Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura and K'Khruk were the only survivors. Daakman Barrek, Sha'a Gi and Tarr Seir were killed by Grievous.

Like all Cereans, his binary brain made him extremely logical and insightful, and allowed him to uniquely weigh decisions involving matters of the Force, both light and dark. Also characteristic of his species, his coordination was somewhat impaired, but compensated for by heightened intuition.

Due to a low Cerean birthrate, he was allowed by the Jedi to follow the Cerean custom of polygamous marriage-- he had four honor wives and seven daughters.

In his two hearts a Jedi, Ki-Adi-Mundi was bravely killed while commanding Republic forces during a mission on an unknown planet and became one with the Force.

The design of this powerful Jedi character began as a reinterpretation of the elder Obi-Wan Kenobi, and then he was fitted with whale-like characteristics.

Kolar, Agen

Star Wars character
Agen Kolar
Species Zabrak
Gender Male
Hair color Black
Eye color Unknown
Home planet Iridonia
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Tux Akindoyeni

Agen Kolar was a Jedi Knight and a member of the Zabrak species, born on the planet Iridonia. He fought on Geonosis and survived in the battle's end, though his young Padawan Tan Yuster, did not. Kolar was among the Jedi Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, and Saesee Tiin who battled Darth Sidious and was killed by the Sith Lord. He holds a seat on the Jedi High Council and Mace Windu considers him one of the Order's finest members.

Koon, Plo

Star Wars character
Plo Koon
Species Kel Dor
Gender Male
Hair color None
Eye color Unknown
Home planet Dorin
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Matt Sloan

Plo Koon was a Jedi Guardian Master and member of the Jedi Council during the Battle of Naboo and the Clone Wars. He was a close friend of Qui-Gon Jinn, and fought along side him during the Stark Hyperspace War. During this conflict, the natural leader Plo Koon raised the Old Republic flag, inspiring his fellow Jedi to victory.

Like all Kel Dor, Plo hailed from the planet Dorin, and required a mask to protect himself from the air of oxygen-rich atmospheres. He was also one of the Jedi who fought at the Battle of Geonosis and was one of the few that survived.

Plo came from a long line of Jedi and was an adept warrior. He had a strong sense of justice, extrasensory organs that enhanced his mental powers, and could shoot lightning from his fingertips like his fellow Kel Dor. Also, Master Plo Koon possessed an extensive knowledge of the physical sciences. In particular, he used his expert knowledge of physics along with the the Force to alter the environment: the resourceful Jedi could create small whirlwinds as well as a dense fog over a limited area, freeze tiny rivers and lakes, and raise or lower the temperature of his surroundings enough to incapacitate an opponent. He wore talons over his fingertips, allowing him to further augment his already prodigious Force powers.

It is believed by many that Plo Koon was killed in a space battle during the Clone Wars.

Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer N/A

He was a companion of Jaina Solo, Jacen Solo, and Tenel Ka. Since most of the people he would have to interact with were not fluent in Wookiee, he used a small translating droid that he carried at his waist named Em Teedee. Later it was modified so as to hover, and follow him around, flying. Being a Wookiee, Lowbacca is a rarity among Jedi, as Force-sensitives are even less common among Wookiees than among other species, one being born only every century or so.

After the Battle of Ruusan, Othone petitioned the Jedi Council for some sort of memorial to Lord Hoth to be built on the planet Ruusan. Species Human
Gender Male
Hair color Brown
Eye color Brown
Home planet Alderaan
Affiliation Jedi, Sith (temporarily)
Film portrayer N/A

About 4,000 years before the coming of Darth Vader, two other Jedi Knights embraced the dark side, eventually challenging and almost decimating the ranks of the Jedi Order they once loyally served. One, Exar Kun, turned to the dark side in quest for knowledge long forbidden by the Order. The other, Ulic Qel-Droma, sought to destroy the dark side sect of Satal and Aleema Keto from the inside, only to be turned to evil himself by the dark side poison. By the time he was finally defeated, Ulic Qel-Droma trained under the Jedi Master Arca Jeth on the world of Arkania, alongside a Twi'lek named Tott Doneeta. Master Arca sent the three Jedi students to the world of Onderon to settle the dispute between Iziz and the beast-riders of Onderon. Ulic encountered the dark side spirit of Freedon Nadd in the Sith storehouses below the royal palace of Iziz. Nadd foretold that Ulic brushed off Freedon Nadd's prophecy, it also chilled him. He was a devoted follower of the light side; how could he become a Sith Lord?

During a space battle between the Republic and the dark side sect led by Satal and Aleema Keto (heirs to the throne of Cinnagar in the Empress Teta system trying to take control of the entire system.) Ulic was injured and the wound - inflicted by a twisted shred of alchemically altered metal - refused to heal.

Ulic journeyed to the Empress Teta system where he presented himself to Satal and Aleema, who promptly imprisoned him. Though Ulic explained that he had come to join them, Satal did not trust the Jedi. He injected the Jedi with potent Sith posisons to ensure that whether Ulic was lying or not, he would still turn to the dark side. Ulic became a member of the sect, using his force powers to help crush all resistance to rule, even though it brought him into conflict with his old friends- including Nomi Sunrider, the Jedi whom he had fallen in love with.

Rancisis, Oppo

Star Wars character
Oppo Rancisis

He was a member of the Jedi Council during the events of The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones. Secura, Aayla

Star Wars character
Aayla Secura
Species Twi'lek
Gender Female
Hair color N/A
Eye color Blue
Home planet Unknown
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Amy Allen

Aayla Secura is a Jedi Knight who appeared in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. She is an empathic and highly intelligent Jedi Knight with impressive fighting skills.

The character is remarkable in that it was originally created for the Expanded Universe, but, after a piece of striking artwork captured George Lucas's eye, the character was placed in the film.

Her appearance in the film is brief, and she sees more action in the Star Wars Republic comic series and Star Wars: Jedi series by Dark Horse Comics.

Aayla is a female Twi'lek who was always strong with the Force. When she was training as a Padawan, her master was Quinlan Vos, a Kiffar who had recently lost his memories but mantained his Jedi ways. When the Clone Wars began, Aayla became a general in charge of a garrison of clone troopers. She was hospitalized after the attack by General Grievous during the Battle of Hypori, but eventally returned to the battlefield.

Aayla died with Barriss Offee during the Great Jedi Purge at Felucia.

Aayla will be reappearing in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Solo, Anakin

Star Wars character
Anakin Solo
Species Human
Gender Male
Hair color Brown
Eye color Blue
Home planet Coruscant (born on Nespis VIII)
Affiliation Jedi, New Republic
Film portrayer N/A

Anakin Solo is the youngest child born to Han Solo and Princess Leia, and has a sister, Jaina Solo, and a brother, Jacen Solo, who are twins. Anakin is named for his maternal grandfather, Anakin Skywalker, and, like his namesake, was a talented pilot who was prodigiously talented both in the Force and mechanical engineering. He was tinkering with devices at the age of three.

Anakin was the first Jedi, after Vergere, to have sensed the Yuuzhan Vong through aid of the Force. He called it the "Vongsense", and it was later called hence by Jacen Solo.

For a time prior to his death, it was widely assumed that Anakin would someday take Luke's place as the most powerful Jedi. These expectations were cut short when Anakin was killed during a strike team mission attacking the Yuuzhan Vong, much to the chagrin of his girlfriend Tahiri and his family.

After the conclusion of The New Jedi Order series, rumors abounded that the young Anakin Solo had somehow survived his meeting with the voxyn in the book Star by Star—these are just rumors and have not been substantiated as of yet. It is unlikely that he might have survived considering that all of his family members—Leia especially—were devastated by their impressions of his death through the Force.

Solo, Jacen and Jaina

Star Wars character
The Solo Twins
Species Human
Gender Male/Female
Hair color Brown
Eye color Brown
Home planet Coruscant
Affiliation Jedi, New Republic
Film portrayer N/A

Jacen and Jaina Solo are twins born to Han Solo and Princess Leia in 9 ABY. Jaina is the elder of the twins and they have a younger brother, Anakin Solo. All three Solo children trained with their uncle, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force.

During the Yuuzhan Vong invasion Jaina saw active service in the New Republic Defense Force, at first as a pilot in Rogue Squadron and then leading the psy-ops Twin Suns Squadron. She eventually achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and was assigned to escort her parents on diplomatic missions for the Galactic Alliance.

Although Jacen did not ever officially join the military, he eventually served on Admiral Kre'fey 's flagship, the Ralroost to help coordinate fleet actions by joining fellow Jedi in a Force Meld. He exceeded in this post with help from his "Vongsense," the rare ability among Jedi to sense the Yuuzhan Vong.

Despite her strong affinity with the Force, Jaina Solo is something of a damsel in distress, being frequently kidnapped by enemy forces. This has become something of a running gag in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, much to the chagrin of some fans and the undying amusement of others.

As with many post-Galactic Republic-era Jedi, Jaina eventually found love; a romance of sorts blossomed with Colonel Jagged Fel, nephew of Wedge Antilles, and a pilot for the Chiss.

As of The Unifying Force, the last novel in the New Jedi Order series, the Solo Twins are twenty years old.

Like the rumors of Anakin Solo, unsubstantiated rumors concerning Jaina Solo have been rather abound - one such rumor claiming that Jaina would have a child in one of the next Expanded Universe books.

Sunrider, Nomi

Nomi Sunrider was a Jedi Knight from the days of the Old Republic, about 4,000 years prior to the Battle of Yavin. She was widowed when her husband Andur was murdered by Bogga the Hutt. Nomi had one daughter, Vima. Nomi's ultimate fate is unknown, although she is obviously long dead by the events of the movies.

Eye color Blue
Home planet Unknown
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer N/A

Siri Tachi, the Jedi apprentice of Adi Gallia. She is a former lover of Obi-Wan's and is theorized to be the mother of Mara Jade in some fan circles, though this theory has no credence. Like many Jedi, she met her premature death during the devastating Clone Wars.

She would later face Grievous again when she, Roron Corrob & Foul Moudama tried in vain to protect Chancellor Palpatine at the start of the Battle of Coruscant. She met her fate during the Jedi purge.

Tiin, Saesee

Star Wars character
Saesee Tiin
Species Iktotchi
Gender Male
Hair color None
Eye color Blue-Grey
Home planet Iktotch
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Khan Bonfils

Saesee Tiin is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe. As a member of the Jedi Council prior to the rise of the Empire, he held the title of Jedi Master even though he had (according to the Expanded Universe) never been known to take a Padawan learner - a testament to his skill as a Jedi and starfighter pilot. Saesee Tiin was mistakenly reported to have been killed during the Battle of Geonosis - this error was later attributed to the confusion of wartime journalism.

Master Tiin appears as a tall, brown skinned humanoid with long, inwardly curved horns on each side of his head. In the Expanded Universe, Tinn is identified as a member of the Iktotchi race with telepathic abilities and superb Force-enhanced piloting skills.

In The Phantom Menace, Saesee Tiin is seen with the Jedi Council and as a mourner at Qui-Gon Jinn's funeral on Naboo. Attack of the Clones sees Saesee Tiin as a participant in the Battle of Geonosis, the opening battle of the Clone Wars. Saesee Tiin also appeared in the second volume of the Clone Wars cartoon, where upon Master Mace Windu's orders, he led a battalion of clone troopers into the heated space battle above Coruscant. He boarded a Separatist cruiser and seized it with his troops.

Saesee Tiin is one of the Jedi killed by Darth Sidious after it is revealed that he and Palpatine are one and the same, as he along with Masters Mace Windu, Agen Kolar, and Kit Fisto confront Palpatine/Sidious in his office.

Trebor, Coleman

Star Wars character
Coleman Trebor
Species Vurk
Gender Male
Hair color None
Eye color None
Home planet Sembla
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer {{{portrayer}}}

Coleman Trebor was a Jedi Council member who fought at the Battle of Geonosis. Early in the battle, he attempted to attack Count Dooku, but was killed by Jango Fett. To his fellow Jedi, Trebor was revered for his wisdom and diplomacy skills. Many Star Wars fans consider him a minor hero.

Coleman Trebor was named after Star Wars CGI animator Rob Coleman.

Vos, Quinlan

Quinlan Vos is a fictional character from the Star Wars Expanded Universe. Although Quinlan is based on a background character from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, he appears primarily in the Star Wars: Republic and Star Wars: Jedi comic book series from Dark Horse Comics.

Quinlan Vos is near-human Kiffar Jedi Knight hailing originally from the planet Kiffex. He has long, dreadlock-like hair and a band of pale yellow across his upper face. He is gifted with psychometric powers, which allow him to read "memories" from inanimate objects through physical contact. Quinlan has a long history of struggle with the dark side of the Force, particularly after sustaining permanent amnesia due to an overdose of an illegal drug administered by an enemy. Quinlan played a major part in the Clone Wars by infiltrating Count Dooku's Inner Circle and give information to the Jedi. He was led back to the dark side of the Force by Count Dooku, and shortly worked as a triple agent against the Republic, untill his true colors were shown while assasinating a senator.

Quinlan trained as a Jedi under Jedi Master Tholme. He later trained Aayla Secura as his own Padawan.

The Last Handmaiden

The Last Handmaiden is a female character from the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

The Handmaiden is an Echani fighter that joins the party of the Jedi Exile after leaving the Jedi Academy on Telos, but only if the main character is male. She and her sisters attend to the Jedi Master Atris, which is why they are all called "handmaidens."

The offspring of Echani parents are typically identical in appearance; however, the Handmaiden looks different from her sisters because she has a different mother. Her mother was a Jedi Knight who fought in the Mandalorian Wars. Once the Exile spars with her three times and learns of her heritage from Kreia, she lets him train her to be a Jedi like her mother, thus betraying Atris and her half-sisters.

After the Exile defeats her previous mistress Atris, who had fallen in the Dark Side, the handmaiden's name is revealed to be Brianna. Brianna is one of the two romanceable NPCs in the game along with the former Nihilus student – Visas Marr.
