June Brown
June Brown (born February 16, 1927) is a British actress and director. She is best known as Dot Branning in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, a role for which she was recommended by Leslie Grantham. Dot is one of the longest running characters in EastEnders; Brown has played the role since 1985.
