Junior
Junior is:
- A student in the third year and above of high school or college; see high school junior
- A child
- A low-level position
- The younger of two people in the same family with the exact same name (e.g., Ken Griffey, Jr.). They are sometimes (incorrectly) also called II, especially if there's a third or fourth with the same name. See also Suffix (name)
- An informal term used to contrast the inexperience of an individual compared to an experienced one
- A common nickname in the United States; it is, e.g., a nickname for George W. Bush
- In Fraggle Rock, the name of the Gorgs' son
- The name of the child character in the movie Problem Child
- A comedy movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger; see Junior (movie)
- In the British Army, a young recruit from the age of sixteen
- A Brazilian football (soccer) player; see Junior (football player)
- A famous chess program Deep Junior
The opposite is senior.
