Junkers Ju 187

The Junkers Ju 187 was designed to replace the aging Ju 87 Stuka, which by the time of the Battle of Britain was fast approaching obselescence, the Ju 187 project never made it to production. The plane would have featured many improvements over the old design, including a retractable undercarriage and an unusual reversible tail. The Ju 187 would have been of all-metal construction with improved armor and armament.
