Kansai Telecasting Corporation
Kansai Telecasting Corporation (abbreviation: KTV, Japanese: 関西テレビ放送株式会社, Kansai-terebi-hōsō-kabushiki-gaisha) is a Japanese TV station in Osaka. It is known as Kansai TV(関西テレビ, Kansai-terebi) or Kantele(関テレ). The character of the TV station is HachiEmon(ハチエモン). It is a network TV station of FNN (Fuji News Network) and FNS (Fuji Network System).

History of Kansai TV
On February 1, 1958, Dai Kansai TV Company(大関西テレビ放送株式会社) was founded. On July 5, the company was renamed "Kansai Telecasting Corporation", and started to broadcast on November 22. The next year, Kansai TV made a network with Fuji TV, Tokai TV, and Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting . In 1964, the network TV station of the network in Fukuoka changed to TV Nishinippon . Two years later, Fuji News Network (FNN) was formed. Three years after then, Fuji Network System (FNS) was formed. In 1992, Kansai TV opened Lemon Studio in Tokyo. On October 1, 1997, the main office moved from Nishi-Temma, Kita-ku, Osaka to Ogimachi, Kita-ku, Osaka.
