Kanto (Pokémon)

This article is about the Pokémon region. For the region of Japan, see Kanto region.

Kanto (not to be confused with the region in Japan) is a large sea-side region or state of the Pokemon world, and it appears in Pokémon video games, television series and some Pokemon manga, and is modeled after the region of Kanto in Japan. This region is home to the Pokemon League Headquarters and the Indigo League of Kanto on Indigo Plateau.

The Kanto region also includes a few mountains, namely Mt. Moon and The Indigo Plateau.

In the Pokémon world, it's the eastern region, while Johto is in the west and Hoenn in the south.
