Ken Cranston
Kenneth Cranston (born 20 October 1917) is a former English cricketer who played for Lancashire and England.
Cranston captained England once, in 1947/8, in the first test match against the West Indies, as Gubby Allen got injured on board the boat carrying them there. The match was drawn, though England ended up losing the four-match series 2-0.
Cranston retired in 1950 to concentrate on his dental practice.
