Ken Hensley

Ken Hensley (born 24 August, 1945, London, England) is a keyboard (especially Hammond organ) player and guitarist.

  • The Gods (member from 1965 to 1968), Lead vocals and keyboards, occasional guitar
  • Toe Fat (member in 1968), Keyboards, backing vocals, occasional guitar
  • Head Machine (quasi-member in 1968; this was a one-album project put together by a producer to showcase his own songs), Lead vocals, keyboards, guitars
  • Uriah Heep (member from 1969 to 1980), Keyboards, backing and occasional lead vocals, acoustic and slide guitar, primary songwriter
  • Weed (quasi-member in 1971 with the other band members thought to have been from a German band called Virus . A one-shot side project from Uriah Heep), Keyboards, vocals
  • Blackfoot (member from 1982 to 1985), Keyboards, vocals, slide guitar
  • W.A.S.P. (guested on 1989 album), Keyboards, producer
