Kerrera
Kerrera is an island in the Scottish Inner Hebrides. It has a population of about thirty people and is linked by ferry with Oban on the mainland.
The island is known for the ruined Gylen Castle , built in 1582, and for its sandy beaches. It was also the place where Alexander II of Scotland died in 1249. The highest point on Kerrera is Càrn Breugach at around 200 metres.
The main industry on the island is a small lobster factory.
