The Kerry South parliamentary constituency is located in the southern half of County Kerry, Ireland, taking in Killarney, Caherciveen and Kenmare. The constituency has an electorate of 51,761 and at present is served by 3 Teachtaí Dála (TDs). The method of election is the Single Transferable Vote.
One of the most high profile TDs in the constituency is the current Minister for Arts, Sport & Tourism, John O'Donoghue. Another colourful politician from the area is the Independent deputy Jackie Healy-Rae.
