Kerry Gene Adkisson aka Kerry Von Erich a professional wrestling legend from the tragically famous Adkission (Von Erich) family.

Kerry, deceased, is the Son of legendary wrestler Fritz Von Erich (Jack Adkission) . Brother of David, Kevin, Chris, Mike , and Jack, Jr. who died as a child. Older brother David died of a mysterious ailment in a hotel in Japan in the 1980s.

A former NWA World Heavyweight Champion and World Class (an old promotion based in Dallas, Texas) champion as well as having other regional championships. Kerry died after committing suicide, a tragedy that also befell multiple brothers of his (specifically Mike and Chris).

Most of his fame was made in Texas. Later, he ended up in the World Wrestling Federation as the "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich. Kerry always had an impressive strongman physique. Some of his moves were the "Discus Punch" and the famous Von Erich family "Iron Claw."

Kerry's biggest career highlight was when he beat "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in Dallas, Texas, in front of a packed stadium of fans for the NWA World Championship. He, along with some of his brothers, had a famous feud with another tag team called the Fabulous Freebirds (Michael P.S. Hayes, Terry "Bam-Bam" Gordy (deceased) and Buddy "Jack" Roberts ).
