Kevin Nolan
Kevin Nolan (born June 14 1982 in Liverpool, England) is an England Under-21 international footballer who currently plays for Bolton Wanderers of the English Premier League.
A promising youngster, Nolan plays in a central or right sided midfield role for Bolton Wanderers but has also has been known to fill the defensive positions. Nolan is a fan favourite after scoring two goals in two different victories over Bolton fans' most hated team, Manchester United. In his first season in the Premiership (2001/2), Nolan scored 8 goals in the league including 2 at Leicester City on the opening day of the season in a game that Bolton won 5-0. The following season Nolan's only goal was the winner at Old Trafford were Bolton recorded there second shock win at Old Trafford. In his third season in the Premiership Nolan amassed a huge total of 12 goals which was incredible considering the position he played and playing in an unfashionable Bolton team who had their best season for 45 years, which was in part due to Nolan and Kevin Davies. Kevin Nolan has had a few calls ups to the England Under 21's but also has Irish links so could play for the Republic of Ireland or England at the full international level.
