Kia Amanti
The Kia Amanti (Known as Opirus in South Korea) is a mid-size luxury five-seater sedan produced by Kia Motors and it was launched in April 2003. It is sold for around US$25,000 and shares the same 3.5 L V6 engine as the Hyundai XG350. It is also around four inches (10cm) longer and has a two inch (5 cm) longer wheelbase. For safety features, it comes with eight airbags, front and rear crumple zones, side-impact door beams, re-inforced pillars and other common safety features.
To back up its claim of being a luxury sedan, it includes features such as alloy wheels, power steering, optional leather seating and wood styled interior. It also features a built in garage door opener which can also be programmed with other functions. However, it is sold only as a value luxury and lacks many of the features of more expensive rivals.
