Kiato (Greek, Modern: Κιάτο, Ancient/Katharevousa: -on) is a offshore town located in the northern part of the prefecture of Corinthia in the Peloponnese, Greece. Kiato is located in a hammock area which is lettered by lemon trees, orange trees, and other fruit-bearing trees. It has a lot of touristic activity mainly in the summer. The ancient name of Kiato was Sikiona and the municipality of Sikyona is named after this place. In the antiquity it had a great prosperity, specially from the middle of the 2nd century BC. Kiato is linked with GR-8 and the Elissos river flows near the centre of Kiato. It also serves a junction to a road linking to Stymfalia and also Levidi to the southwest. At the same road 2 km south is GR-8A/E55 (Athens - Patras), E94 eastbound which its exit is at the 109th km. Kiato is located almost halfway between Patras and Athens It is located approximately 30 km (old distance, 25 km) NW of Corinth, about 111 km W of Athens, about 110 km E of Patras, 98 km E of the Rio-Antirio bridge and about 40 km NE of Stymfalia . Grovelands surround Kiato while fruits and vegetable farming lie to the southeast and parts near Kiato. Forests lie within the shorelines to the east and west and some to the south and along the hills. The hills lie to the south. The Kiato rest area lies 8 km southeast serving McDonalds, then Rest and also have a gas station once called Mobil.

Kiato has schools, lyceums, a gymnasium, banks, a post office, beaches, hotels, bars and nightclubs where the nightlife was common, and squares (plateies) including one downtown.
