Kiddy Kong

Kiddy Kong is the toddler cousin of Dixie Kong and Tiny Kong and the brother of Chunky Kong. Although he's considered a family member of these apes, his different bodily structure lends some fans of the series to believe he's actually a baboon, not a monkey, and an adopted member of the family. He was created by Rareware to be the new Kong sidekick in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! when Dixie got promoted to the starring role. He also returned as Dixie's sidekick in the Game Boy follow-up, Donkey Kong Land III.

Kiddy was originally going to return in the GameCube title Donkey Kong Racing, but the game was canceled when Rare became part of Microsoft Game Studios in 2002.
