Kim Jae-kyu (March 6, 1926–May 24, 1980) was a South Korean military and intelligence officer.
He was most famous for, while Director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, assassinating South Korean President Park Chung Hee, who had been one of his closest friends for a long time, on October 26, 1979. He was subsequently executed.
