Kimya Dawson
Kimya Dawson is a singer-songwriter and part of the so-called "Anti-Folk movement". She is most well known for being the female singer of The Moldy Peaches. Her cousin is Fabrizio Moretti. After the Moldy Peaches break up in 2000, Dawson released a string of homemade albums: "I'm Sorry that Sometimes I'm Mean", "Knock Knock Who", and "My Cute Fiend Sweet Princess". This was followed by her first studio album, "Hidden Vagenda", released on K Records in October 2004. She currently lives in Bedford Hills with her mother, father, brother (Akida "Junglefoot" Dawson), and nephew.
