Koholint Island
Koholint Island is a fictional dream-isle that is the setting for the video game Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening In the course of the game, Link is washed up on shore on the island and found by one of the inhabitants, a girl named Marin. He collects the eight instruments and wakes the Wind Fish , though the 'nightmares' (bosses) try to hinder his progress. After the Wind Fish wakes up, the island vanishes and Link awakens and finds himself in the middle of the sea clinging on to driftwood.
