Kong in Concert or KiC is an album of 22 songs, contemporary rearrangements of the music from the classic video game Donkey Kong Country for the SNES. Kong in Concert is non-profit collaboration of musicians and lovers of Donkey Kong Country, the soundtrack of which is considered by many to be one of the best in it's class.
The project began by having the participating artists pick tracks to rearrange. then duplicates were voted out. The finished product was released on September 12, 2004, and as of February 7, 2005, there were over 7,000 successful downloads of the album, over 5 terabytes of music.
