Kouk Sun Do or simply known as Sun Do is a line of Taoist practice followed in Korea.
A significant portion of Kouk Sun Do practice consists of meditative breathing techniques purported to "circulate" and "direct" a sensible energy within the physical body and local surroundings of the practitioner.
These breathing techniques are complemented with meditative movement techniques that can be classified as a martial art. While the movements have parallels to karate and t'ai chi it forms its own unique martial art.
