Kumba
Kumba is a city in western Cameroon, lying south of Buea, on Ambas Bay and the Limbe River . In 1985 the city had an estimated 67,000 inhabitants.
The city is a centre of trade of cacao trees and oil palms. The city has an oil and timber industry. Kumba is a local road junction.
Kumba was founded in 1857 on the southern slopes of Mount Cameroon and has grown as a seaside resort. Other than the beaches and nearby islands, attractions in the town include Limbe Botanic Garden and the Limbe Wildlife Centre for primate research.
