Laboratory flask
Laboratory flasks fall into the category of laboratory apparatus known as glassware.
There are several types of laboratory flasks, all of which have different functions within the laboratory. However in all cases they are used to hold liquid substances which are undergoing experimentation.
The most common are listed below:
- Conical flask
- Flat-bottomed flask
- Round-bottomed flask
- Volumetric flask
- Buchner flask
