Laboratory glassware
Laboratory glassware refers to a number of tools used by chemists and biologists in performing scientific experiments.
They include:
- test tubes
- Erlenmeyer flasks
- Florence flasks
- beakers
- Petri dishes
- graduated cylinders
- pipettes
- cuvettes
- burettes
- gas syringes
- conical measures
Often customized pieces of glassware are needed, and for this reason most large laboratories and research facilities keep a glassblower on staff.
