Lady Gabriella Windsor

Lady Gabriella Marina Alexandra Ophelia Windsor was born on 23 April 1981. Known as Ella, both personally and professionally, she is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent and his wife, Princess Michael (formerly Baroness Marie-Christine von Reibnitz), and is 31st in line to the British throne.

Educated at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she studied Spanish and English literature, Lady Ella is an aspiring journalist and has been published in various English newspapers and magazines. In early 2005, she will become the wife of Aatish Taseer , a Delhi-born trainee at TIME magazine, practising Sikh, and son of Pakistani businessman Salman Taseer and Indian journalist Tavleen Singh . (Before Taseer decided to follow in his mother's footsteps as a journalist, he once performed as the sex-safe character 'Captain Condom'.)

After her marriage, she will take the style of The Lady Gabriella Taseer. The couple plan to live in India.
