Lane Davies

Lane Davies (born July 31, 1950) is an American actor. He was born in Dalton, Georgia.

His most well-known role is that of Mason Capwell on the now-defunct soap opera Santa Barbara. He played the role from 1984 to 1989. He left after a series of arguments with co-star Nancy Lee Grahn. When he first left the show, he was noted as saying that his departure from daytime was permanent. He took a six-month around-the-world tour and returned to the United States in February 1990.

In 1993, he filled for Ronn Moss as Ridge Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful as temporary replacement while Moss was on maternity leave.

His later roles included a stint on the series Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in which he played an evil killer from the future named Tempus.

He played Dr. Cameron Lewis on General Hospital from 2002 to 2004. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles with his two sons.
