Lars Berger
Lars Berger (born May 1, 1979, in Ringerike), Buskerud, is a Norwegian biathlete, His family moved to Lesja, Oppland in 1985. At the age of six he started cross-country skiing, but during his teens he decided to try out biathlon. He displayed great talent as a crosscountry skier as well as a biathlete, and joined the national biathlon team in 2001. During the Biathlon World Championship 2004 in Oberhof, Germany, he won the silver medal in the relay and in the mass start. He finished in 5th. place in the overall World Cup in 2004, and he has won several gold medals from the Nowegian Biathlon Championships. He also won the 30 km and relay at the Norwegian Cross-country Championships in Molde, 2003.
