Lechuguilla Cave
Lechuguilla Cave is, as of 2004, the world's fifth longest cave (at 181 km, or about 112.5 mi), and the deepest in the United States (489 m, or about 1604.3 ft), but it is most famous for its unusual geology and unparalleled formations. It is located in the Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico.
