Leibnitz

Leibnitz is a city in Styria, Austria and, as of 2001, has about 6.892 inhabitants.

The district of Leibnitz extends to about 681 square kilometers, within which more than 75.000 people live. On its territory, the judicial districts of Leibnitz and Wildon are located.

Local sights:

  • the Roman settlement of Flavia Solva in the village Wagna ;
  • Castle Seggau ;
  • Frauenberg church;

Leibnitz is the birthplace of Thomas Muster.
