The Lepidosauria are a subclass of reptiles comprising the orders :
- Squamata
- Sphenodontia or Rhynchocephalia
- Eosuchia Conservation status: Fossil
Lepidosaurians are the most successful of modern reptiles. They comprise all the reptiles with overlapping scales such as the tuataras, amphisbaenians, lizards, and snakes.
