Liam Neeson


Liam Neeson (born 7 June, 1952) is a Northern Irish (British) actor.

He was born William John Neeson in Ballymena, County Antrim, and was a former youth boxing champion. He has made numerous films and a hit single, and has been called the world's most attractive man. High-profile appearances include the lead roles in Schindler's List (for which he received an Oscar nomination), Rob Roy, Michael Collins and Star Wars: the Phantom Menace.

He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for Schindler's List in 1993.

Was named an Officer of the Order of British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth II on New Year's Honours List, 1999.

He is married to actress Natasha Richardson, and father of two sons.
