Linton, West Yorkshire
Linton is a village in West Yorkshire, England, situated between Wetherby and Sicklinghall.
A good place to get a drink in Linton is the Windmill pub, although if you are staying at the highly regarded Wood Hall Hotel, also in the village, you could get a drink there instead, thus saving yourself the walk to the pub. Then again, if you are a bit overweight, it might be better to take the walk, or even skip the drink altogether. All these things are possible in Linton, hence the presentation of the coveted English Village Of Possibilities 2004 award on the village green in August 2004 by Tony Blair.
