A catch phrase is a repeated line used by a person or fictional character.Please make sure that anything you add to this page is a true catch phrase and not merely a famous quotation. Anything not repeated many times by the character is not a catchphrase, no matter how famous.

• "After these messages, we'll be right back." - sung at the beginning of every commercial break on the old ABC Saturday morning cartoons
• "Ah-one, and ah-two..." - Lawrence Welk, directing his musical performers on The Lawrence Welk Show
• "Ain't I a stinker?" - Bugs Bunny
• "All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up." - Gloria Swanson as "Norma Desmond" in Sunset Boulevard (often repeated as "I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille.")
• "Allll-righty, then!" - Ace Ventura, Pet Detective
• "ALVIN!!!" - David Seville, usually yelled in the Alvin and the Chipmunks series.
• "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do" - Impressionist comic version of John Wayne's line from Hondo - "A man ought'a do what he thinks is best."
• "And away we go!" - Jackie Gleason on his television programs.
• "(And) it's goodnight from me..." - "And it's goodnight from him!" - Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker respectively in The Two Ronnies
• "And here's what's happening in your neck of the woods." - used by Al Roker on The Today Show to introduce the local weather report
• "And I would have got away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!" - Almost every villain from the Scooby-Doo cartoon series. Always said right after the villain's identity is revealed (usually by taking a mask off) and his or her plan explained. This catchphrase is unusual in that it is characteristic of a type of character rather than a single person. The catch-phrase may feature slight variations, like substituting "meddling" with "pesky" or including Scooby Doo himself ("And your dog!")

• "Attica! Attica!" - Al Pacino as Sonny in Dog Day Afternoon, a reference to the Attica Prison riots
• "Awesome, baby!" - Dick Vitale
• "Aw jeez!" - John Mahoney as Martin Crane on Frasier
• "¡Ay ay ay!" (followed by various explanations in Spanish) - Bumblebee Man in The Simpsons
• "Ay-carumba!" - Bart Simpson

• "BAH! HUMBUG!" - Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol
• "Bam!" - chef Emeril Lagasse on his show on Food Network, used when adding an ingredient while cooking
• "Banana-slamma!!" - Donkey Kong in the Donkey Kong Country animated series
• "Banzai, Daniel-san!" - Mr. Miyagi from The Karate Kid
• "Barney, my Pebbles!" - Fred Flintstone, who has been tricked by Barney Rubble in Post Fruity Pebbles /Cocoa Pebbles commercials
• "Be seeing you." Patrick McGoohan (The Prisoner, Danger Man)
• "Be vewy vewy quiet; I'm hunting wabbits." - Elmer Fudd
• "Beam me up, Scotty!" - attributed to Captain Kirk in Star Trek (This was never actually uttered. The closest was in Star Trek IV, when Kirk said "Scotty, beam me up.")
• "Beef. It's what's for dinner." - Commercials advertisting beef as a meat choice.
• "Beep Beep" - Road Runner in Warner Brothers' Road Runner cartoons (actually "Mheep Mheep").
• "Believe it...or not" - Ripley's Believe It or Not series (book, TV show)
• "Big bucks, no whammies!!" - Contestants on Press Your Luck and Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck
• "Billions and billions" Carl Sagan (he never actually said it, but Johnny Carson did in his impression of Sagan)

• "Blatherin' Blatherskite!" - Fenton Crackshell's magical phrase that transforms him into GizmoDuck in DuckTales.
• "Blistering barnacles!" - Captain Haddock from The Adventures of Tintin.
• "Bond. James Bond" - James Bond, played by various actors in the James Bond series of movies
• "Boogity! Boogity! Boogity!" - NASCAR Commentator and Legend Darrell Waltrip said at the moment when the green flag waves in a NASCAR race.

• "Eat my goal!" - Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge in The Day Today (The phrase was only used once on the show, but has entered British national consciousness through endless playground repeating, and through being sampled by the techno music group Collapsed Lung on a single that used the phrase as its title.)
• "Eat my shorts!" - Bart Simpson from The Simpsons
• "Elvis has left the building!" - Al Dvorin announcement over public address after Elvis Presley concert to induce fans to leave
• "Eeeep!" - Sebastian's muffled whimper in The Little Mermaid .

• "E.T. phone home" - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial from the eponymous movie by Steven Spielberg.

• "He's fallen in the water!" - Spike Milligan as Little Jim in the Goons

• "Holy _____, Batman!" - An exclamation of Robin from the Batman television series. The word after "Holy" was different in every episode, depending on plot circumstances. Examples range from "Holy popcorn, Batman!" to "Holy contributing to the delinquency of minors, Batman!"
