This is of the 9 castelli of San Marino: 
- Acquaviva
- Borgo Maggiore
- Chiesanuova
- Domagnano
- Faetano
- Fiorentino
- Montegiardino
- City of San Marino (Cittą di San Marino), capital town
- Serravalle
But one of the biggest towns of the Republic is Dogana , that is not an autonomous castello but belongs to the castello of Serravalle. As matter of fact castelli, like Italian comuni, includes a main town that is the seat of the castello, called capoluogo, and some little place or localities known as frazioni (fractions).
