There has never been a female U.S. Treasury Secretary, U.S. Defense Secretary, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary or U.S. Veterans Affairs Secretary.
No woman served, while they were Cabinet-level offices, as U.S. Secretary of War, U.S. Postmaster General, U.S. Secretary of the Navy or U.S. Secretary of Commerce and Labor.
