List of political parties in Angola

This article lists political parties in Angola.

Angola has a dominant-party system. The Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) has ruled the country since independence in 1975. It was the sole legal party from 1975 until 1991, although during that period it never fully consolidated its power throughout the entire country. Large sections of the interior were controlled by the rebel National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) under the leadership of Jonas Savimbi.

Because elections have not been held since 1992, there is no reliable method to accurately gauge various parties' current level of support.

In total, there are more than 120 registered parties; only a handful have national constituencies.
