List of political parties in Brazil
This article lists political parties in Brazil.
Brazil has a multi-party system, with numerous parties in which no one party often has a chance of gaining power alone, and parties must work with each other to form coalition governments.

The parties
- The general rule on naming applies. That means: the parties are named in the English translation and the original native name is placed on the first line of the article unless the native form is more commonly used in English than the English form. Most of the following parties were registered on the Electoral Court (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral) as of 1999. In elections, Brazilian political parties are identified by a two-digit number which is also used to identify that party's candidates.
