List of political parties in Equatorial Guinea

Political parties in Equatorial Guinea lists political parties in this country. Equatorial Guinea is a single-party state. This means that only one political party, the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea is de facto allowed to hold effective power. Although multiple parties are permitted by the Constitution of 1991, only one true oppositional party operates openly.

The parties

The general rule on naming applies. That means: the parties are named in the English translation and the original native name is placed on the first line of the article unless the native form is more commonly used in English than the English form. Rationale and specifics: See: Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English).

The ruling party

Minor parties formed since 1991
