Los Angeles Galaxy

The Los Angeles Galaxy is one of two Major League Soccer (MLS) franchises located in Los Angeles, California. The team colors are yellow and green; the home jerseys are yellow with a green and black diagonal sash. The Galaxy have been in the league since 1996. They played their home games at the Rose Bowl from 1996-2002 and moved into their own Soccer-specific stadium, the Home Depot Center, in 2003.

The Galaxy made the MLS Cup finals in 1996, 1999, and 2001, before winning their first MLS championship in 2002. In 2001, they won the CONCACAF Champions Cup and the US Open Cup.
