Luis Suarez
Luis Suarez Miramontes (born March 2, 1935 in La Coruna, Spain) was a Spanish football player and manager, the European Footballer of the Year in 1960.
Luis Suarez scored 14 goals in 32 matches for Spain. In 1961, he became the world's most expensive footballer when FC Barcelona sold him to Inter Milan for £142,000. He would 328 appearances for Inter, scoring 55 goals. He also played for Deportivo La Coruña, Espanyol, and Sampdoria.
After retiring as a player, Luis Suarez coached the Spanish national team from 1988 and 1991. He also managed Inter Milan on three occasions (1974-75, 1992, and 1995), the last two on a caretaker basis.
